IM DONE

I’ve been looking through blogs in my group in the Student Blogging Challenge to find ones that I’d like to share. Here are three that I hope you will take your time to look at. I really enjoyed reading and commenting on them.

1. To begin with, I think you should visit 18toch  because it’s an interesting blog with fun facts to read about. I also find the layout very unique.
2. Second I think you should visit 18hoem because 18hoem has some interesting facts about him/her I’d tell you but I think you should go take a look.
3. Third 18mcma has some awesome moments about her life that I think you should take a look at because you could relate to them and comment.

To be honest I think these are really great blogs to go check out. They were the 3 I found really fun, interesting, and awesome. To find out why they are awesome go check them out!

In the Student Blogging Challenge Ashley is my mentor. She is a student at the University of South Alabama in a teacher training course called EDM310. It’s interesting knowing that she’s a student teacher learning how to blog so later on she’s can teach other teachers and students about how to use blogs in the classroom. I’d like to ask her a few questions:

• What’s your favorite food?
• Do you have any hobbies?
• Do you have any siblings?
• Are you allergic to anything?

Week 1

Minecraft is an awesome game. It’s a 3D game with blocks that are like big pixels and the graphics are low. Minecraft is about building and you can do anything you want in the game. The objective is to stay alive and defend yourself and build a house at the beginning. You going to want to build a house because there’s monsters that try to kill you at night time. To build a house you have to get wood and then turn them into wooden planks then build tools to mine, cut down trees, and you can build almost anything you want which makes the game a lot better. Minecraft can be very complex. Sometimes you’re in a sticky situation like getting trapped in a cave. The good thing about Minecraft is that you can change the difficulty to make it easy, hard, medium , peaceful or hardcore. The game is very creative if you’re a person that likes creativity. You should buy the game or get the cracked version for free to try it out and see if you like it. The game is for PC but I’ve actually stopped playing games now since it’s summer here where I live.

My class participated in the Tim Horton’s Community Clean Up. We went all around cleaning up and we filled lots of garbage bags by going through a park which had tons of garbage in it. We collected cigarettes, old rusty metal objects, signs, remote control cars and more. It took about 90 mins to fill ten bags and carry all the big items back to school. At the end we got a class photo of all our hard work because our class found as much garbage as the rest of the school combined. The garbage was later picked up and taken to the dump or recycled. It was fun, exciting, and long. By the end everyone was tired and wanted to go wash up because that stuff was gross! I think we helped our neighbourhood out a lot.

My class is doing the Entrepreneur Fair and we will be selling items that are interesting and different. This will be happening on May 23rd with people from other schools coming to buy our products as well.  I am selling flower pencils and I think you should buy them because instead of having a plain pencil you could have a different colored pencil with flowers on it to have some fun when you draw and write. Please take my survey to help me make a better product.

Skateboarding is my favorite thing to do I always do it in the summer. Skateboarding is a board with trucks and wheels and bearings to make them spin. There’s all types of bearings, skateboarding, trucks, and wheels. There’s different types because some of them have better quality then others. But the quality doesn’t matter if you do tricks but if you like to ride around your gonna want to have better bearings.I recommend if you prefer performing tricks then buy a smaller light board. There’s the smaller wheels for doing tricks and stuff and are easier then bigger wheels because smaller wheels are not as heavy and the more heavy the better to go fast for riding around.

When you buy your skateboard you should buy it at the skate shop and you can buy a custom one.  Custom skateboards are better because then you know what buying. So every summer I always skateboard almost everyday with my friends and it’s really fun and usually we will go to the store and get something like Microsoft points for my Xbox 360. I like to ride and do tricks so I have a long board and a skateboard Long boards are like the same thing but a longer board then a skateboard and bigger wheels so you can go bombing down hills and Cruising around. I did have a long board until it broke from me jumping on it.

I have earned my blog! It’s going to be fun because I have never blogged before so it’s all new to me. I hope people come to my blog and enjoy it. I like how how I will be visiting other people’s blogs around the world and people from other countries will be visiting mine. I will post a lot !
